Quiero hablarte de la Luna y del Esbat, pues conforma lo que en su conjunto llamamos "Fiestas Menores".
Las Fiestas Mayores son los 8 Sabbats, y las Menores los 13 Esbats. Que son las Lunas Llenas del A~no.
?Alguna vez te has preguntado por qu'e los brujos celebramos las Lunas Llenas?.
En ellas invocamos a los Dioses Benditos, a los Elementos y a las Fuerzas Ancestrales. Tambi'en preparamos pociones, amuletos, manzanas embrujadas y todo tipo de elaborados que potencian nuestra espiritualidad.
?Pero por qu'e las celebramos?. Acaso los Wiccanos disponemos de alg'un secreto que mejora nuestra vida?. El asunto bien podr'ia ir por ah'i, pero no es de todo el punto. Te preguntar'e algo muy sencillo; ?Qu'e ves t'u en la Luna?. ?Qu'e fuerza misteriosa o no, percibes ante su presencia?. ?Te siente bien cuando la ves?. ?Qu'e te hace sentir?. ?Tu mente se trasporta hacia otra dimensi'on si la ves un rato?, o ?sencillamente no sientes nada?.
Espero que a la hora de la verdad veas en ella algo m'as que un orbe muerto, porque si no, algo va mal en tu fe pagana. Tal vez est'es estudiandola antes de ponerte en marcha, o quiz'as no haya llegado tu momento. En cualquier caso, si tu intenci'on es trabajar con ella, deber'ias empezar a plantearte la met'afora de la Luna, ya que si lo haces puedes descubrir a la aliada m'as perfecta de la Magia.
La Luna es la Madrina de los Brujos. La Guardiana de la Noche y del Misterio. Ella rige los poderes internos, la intuici'on, la videncia, los viajes astrales, la percepcion extrasensorial, las curaciones m'agicas o energ'eticas y todos los trabajos asociados a la Magia.
Para los Wiccanos representa la Presencia del Sagrado Femenino manifestado en el Cielo. Su "planeta" regente. Es como la bandera que ondea record'andonos que la Diosa est'a aqu'i.
As'i como en el Sol vemos el s'imbolo Celeste del Dios, en la Luna vemos a la Diosa. Y estos s'imbolos ancestrales y eternos, nos sirven "de puente" para conectar con los Dioses y el Gran Esp'iritu. Son como "puertas c'osmicas" por las que la mente entra en estados alterados de conciencia, para que lleguemos a lo Divino.
Si eres un seguidor de este blog, ya sabes de sobra que los Wiccanos trascendemos a trav'es de la Naturaleza. La Luna cumple un papel fundamental en nuestra religi'on. Pues ella es la Madre que acompa~na nuestra senda. Por eso los brujos celebramos la Luna Llena. Su presencia nos ayuda a elevarnos.
Pero volvamos a hacernos la pregunta; ?Qu'e ve un Pagano en la Luna?. Igual que un cristiano puede acordarse inmediatamente de Jes'us al ver una cruz. Nosotros cuando vemos la Luna vemos a la Diosa. Es su s'imbolo, y lo usamos para llegar hasta ella. Para nosotros es como ver a la Diosa en el Cielo.
Esta idea no es algo nuevo. Los Antiguos Sumerios y los Babilonios ya otorgaron el t'itulo de "Reina del Cielo" a sus Diosas. Cabe recordar que ellos fueron los primeros astr'ologos conocidos, y rend'ian culto a las estrellas.
A Isis tambi'en se la llamaba as'i, y casi todas las culturas que han tenido conciencia de la Diosa Madre, han puesto este t'itulo a la Luna. No me estra~na. Cuando la ves en el cielo es la Riena, y en su papel de Madre Protectora ofrece luz, consuelo y videncia a sus hijos repartidos.
Si te gusta la Luna y quieres profundizar en el tema, te aconsejo que leas todo lo que puedas de ella. Consulta los libros de Dion Fortune, los libros de Wicca que hay en el mercado y los datos astro-fisicos. Esto te ayudar'a a saber qu'e quieres celebrar t'u en la Luna Llena.

Lo 'unico que el Wicca te va a decir es; "yo lo celebro, porque lo siento y es mi fe". A nivel energ'etico tambi'en te puede decir que cuanto m'as las celebra, m'as conexion y poder tiene, pero jam'as te va a decir que tienes que hacerlo por obligaci'on.
Se hace por devoci'on, y si no se tiene devoci'on pues no se hace. As'i de simple.
La oraci'on forzada no sirve de nada, dec'ia Teresa de 'Avila, y es verdad. Cuando una persona quiere celebrar una ceremonia de este estilo, antes de hacerlo debe pararse a pensar y preguntarse a s'i mismo; ?porqu'e quiero celebrarla?, ?con qu'e objetivo?. Uno no puede celebrar un ritual y trascender con 'el si no sabe hacia donde quiere llegar. Celebrar por celebrar no sirve para nada (te lo aseguro).
