Throughout is my favourite C. S. Lewis quote:
"I am intricate existing to hang on to everyone saying the really mad thing that kin often say about Him: I'm fixed to take delivery of Jesus as a cavernous merely literary, but I don't take delivery of his maintain to be God. That is the one thing we hardship not say. A man who was subtly a man and supposed the manner of stuff Jesus supposed would not be a cavernous merely literary. He would either be a madcap - on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg - or else he would be the Imp of Hell. You hardship make your breadth. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something reduce. You can come together him up for a comic, you can pour at him and rout him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and phone him Lady and God, but let us not come with any enhanced junk about his brute a cavernous material literary. He has not passed on that open to us. He did not dearth to."
His books were a cavernous representation on me as an previously Christian, mainly these prophetic words from the 1940s which inform us of stuff brute supposed far too often in our churches today.
"JESUS IS Dependable Lady AND GOD."
